I don’t think I’m a very attractive person. I don’t like the shape of my nose, my eyes are kinda too narrow for my face, my bottom lip is much fuller than my top lip and I have an ear that’s so pointy it makes me look like a cosplaying elf. My body is curvy in all the wrong places, my muscle definition is not what it used to be (note to self: go back to the gym!) and I’m never, ever gonna be rid of the scars I was young and stupid enough to inflict on myself. But then my friend Tony took this photo and it’s as much him being a good photographer and photo editor and me being strangely okay with getting naked in front of a camera, that gives me those rare moments of “wow, I CAN look good.” So people, get your kits off! Grab a friend with a camera and amongst hundreds of rubbish photos (get your friend to edit them out for you) there WILL be that one photo that you can look at when you feel like a frumpy, awkward looking failure and it will give you a little sense of pride and a boost of confidence.
